Stafford Folk Players is a recognised society and everyone attending the Music Day is a member.
It is affiliated to the EFDSS and Stafford District Arts Council and supported byStaffordshire County Council

2011 Questionnaires — comments have again been collated and passed on the the relevant tutors.  We will respond to your wishes where possible.

Annual General Meeting will take place at the end of each Music Day.  Please read the Annual report during the Day — it is displayed on the walls in the Main Hall at Barnfields along with the Statement of Accounts and the Minutes of the last AGM.  We will have a very brief meeting at the end of the Day to approve the Committee for the next year etc. and the accounts.

Bulletin board — If you know of any players groups, events of common interest, have any addresses of music session venues, small ads., information on instruments, music, or musicians, please bring a notice with you — no larger than A5 please.

Folk Shop will be selling Music, Tapes, CDs etc. as usual, so bring some money to spend!  If you want something specific please let us know in advance and the Shop will do their best to provide it.

Music stands

We don't supply these — please bring your own.

Meals

Lunch and break-time coffee & tea will be served on the premises.

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be included in the cost of your meal ticket (Ploughman's lunch and sweet) which must be ordered in advance.  For those not wishing to buy a meal ticket, a "tea and coffee only" ticket for mid-morning and mid-afternoon breaks costs £1.50p, payable at Reception.

Electrical Safety

Please note that all mains-powered electrical equipment used at the Stafford Music Day must have a valid PAT certificate.
